Praise the Lord - A$AP Rocky and Skepta

This music video is a performance video. It features America artist A$AP Rocky and British artist Skepta.
The video compares the cultural differences between New York and London. In the parts of the video filmed in New York the editors have exaggerated the colours to make it seem more bright and vibrant. When focusing on London more colder colours are used with little saturation making London seem more dull and cold. The bright suits and expensive jewellery that is shown in some shots from New York expresses their wealth and power. In the picture above showing 2 shops, the New York seems a lot more bright and vibrant whereas Londons is dull and boring. This can also be seen in the picture below where London is extremely dark compared to New York. Although both cultures are still happy and seem to enjoy their city. Editing is used to make the buildings in the background bounce with the song displaying that the city and the people in it define the culture.

Freaks and Geeks - Childish Gambino
This is a music video that is also very inspirational as it shows that even with standard facilities to work with amazing works can be achieved. I like the simple set up with 6 bright lights on the floor with a white warehouse background. The red hoodie the singer is wearing contrasts the white very well and focuses the attention on him. I think that the use of one camera shot throughput the whole video is very clever. The camera dolly's in extremely slowly throughout the song until it ends with a close up of the singers face.
