Target Setting/Reflection

After completing the first 16 tasks I can reflect on the work I have done so far that has given me an insight into music videos and their conventions. I expect to have the rest of the tasks done by the Christmas holidays.

In our group we expect to film our project by Christmas. Some roles in our group have had to be changed as one of our group members Jasper has a broken leg and therefore will most likely not act in the piece. He will do more filming and editing. Me, Grace and Marcus will be acting in the video with Marcus and I taking the roles of the singers. We will all have our share of filming and editing as well. 

I would like to further improve my filming and editing skills in this project. I will add after effects and other edits to make our piece stand out.

Reflecting on the work I have done so far I have learnt how music videos are fitted to different conventions and different types of music videos. I have found a target audience and what music they listen to and how they like music videos to be laid out. This helps me determine how I want to film my music video.
