Comparing artist social media pages

For my social media page I wanted to take some inspiration from the actual artists instagram page but also keep some things different. Chase Atlantic likes to use a lot to capitals to project his message to the fans. We have used this when captioning upcoming events for our artist. He also has a lot of photos of his band and himself. This is reflected in numerous posts on our page with individual posts of our artist and a post supporting another member in our group who also acted in the music video. A big factor that is similar in both social media pages is the colour and vibrancy. Both social media pages display bright colours in unique ways. In Chase Atlantic's instagram there are some posts with plain black or white backgrounds but with lots of vibrant colour in the middle. The majority of his posts are all vibrant and colourful which is similar to my artist instagram where there are a lot of bright colours. As well as this both instagrams tease their fans with little snippets of new music or music videos coming up.

Something that is different in the instagrams is the behind the scenes and insight into the artists life that is given. In Chase Atlantic's instagram there is no behind the scenes or anything into the bands lives to interest the fans. In my artists instagram there is small behind the scene posts, a post with fans, and a post of my artist enjoying a star UK rapper Dave's concert. This gives the fans a little insight into my artists life and allows my artists to make connections with my fans and gives them something to relate to.
